The old battle field is located in the ruins of part of Daeseag. The buildings around it are crumbled and in ruins, but there is still shelter in quite a few of the shattered buildings. The ground is littered with debris, rotting carcasses, and blood stains. It's not the ideal place for dogs to live, but it's suitable.

The Church was quite beautiful in its time, a small square building that, when humans had been around to maintain it, had been a clean, bright white. Now the paint is peeling, turned dingy grey from the elements, and inside it's beginning to smell moldy. The inside is dark, the windows narrow and small, cracked and caked with grime. The wooden pews are small, the entire place just barely big enough to fit the whole town in there on Sundays. In the winter, because of its narrow doorway, the church is quite a bit warmer than the other buildings, and becomes a popular place for animals to spend their nights.

Main Street goes down the center of the town, from east to west, and every store in Daeseag is on this street. The main road is gravel and dirt, packed down hard in the center with two deep grooves from wagon wheels. These tend to fill with water when it rains. Along the fronts of the stores on both side are walkways made of wooden planks; these walkways are set several inches above the road to pedestrians aren't sprayed with mud or slush in the wet weather. Most of the stores have locked doors, but since pretty much all of them have broken windows, it doesn't really matter. The General Store is full of stale, dusty candy and a rusting bicycle sits in the bay window, its black paint faded and pocked with orange.

Just south of Daeseag is a large swamp. It's filled with old, rotting trees, and the trees that aren't dead block out the sun. The chirps of crickets fill the air, and hords of mosquitos swarm there. Crocodiles and allagators swim in the water, and every now and again you can find a small school of fish. Frogs can be found everywhere, just sitting on a log, stump, or rock, croaking their annoying tune.

Just east of Daeseag is a large lake with sparkling water. One can find many species of fish swimming in the untainted water. At the very bottom of the lake, one can find the sparkling crystals that gave the lake its name. Around the lake is lush green grass with many different kinds of flowers scattered along it. The lake is one of the few places that the war never reached.

Members can come here to play games or just chat with each other. Any topic is acceptable as long as it follows Proboards ToS, and the discussions remain civil. Respect your fellow members and have fun!
